No - it's a hypothesis based on "proven" Scientific evidence, just like the (CMB) lends support to the big bang theory.
Whereby I believe the latter to be an entertaining TV series.

The expansion of the Universe is proven. The cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation is proven. DNA is proven.

No, it emerges from the physics, all on its own. Now THAT one may be untestable, however. Unless we come up with a way for the universes to exchange information.

And please learn what the word, "speculation" means. Speculation is to say something is true or almost certainly true, for example. Or floating an idea for which there is zero evidence (like magical gods). THAT is speculation.

It's not "speculation" to say something is possible, because it emerges from the math. Theoretical evidence is better than no evidence.

So, saying a multiverse is possible is not speculation.

It's also a super cool topic.
