Wisconsin and Michigan happen to be two states which do not allow absentee ballots to be counted until election day. Because of this, it was well known ahead of time that counting would take days.

And as everyone knows, Democrats voted by absentee far more than Republicans did. It was these very things which Steve Bannon and Trump planned to take advantage of to fabricate the Big Lie.

There is something called absentee ballots and military vote, that are not counted and added to the same day vote until later in the night.
