Is healing possible? I mean really, does anyone actually think healing is a reality? Personally, I dont. I think its actually going to get much worse. In order to heal, we'd have to learn be ok with our differences and we would have to be able to admit when we are wrong, on both sides. We'd have to stop being partisan and stop letting the media control us.

I just dont see that ever happening. I think the hate, violence, and bloodshed will continue, because adults can't act like adults.

When on active duty, under title 10 federal activation, they are Army, just like it says on their uniform, and they are under Command of an active duty Army General. So, the California mission was and is wrong. DC,? Federal District, not a state. Pretty much the same authority as any Army base, as home rule consistently fails, as it should fail.
