It does if she claims she is serious about a really really serious relationship. That is a requirement, for me to practice the Art of the Husbandman.
So it requires a serious relationship, even if you have no money. What if one of her requirements in a serious relationship is that her husband/partner be able to carry his weight financially?
Then, she doesn't want me, unless she hooks me up with a job.
So there is an acceptable reason why she would shun you when you have no money.

Keep telling yourself that. I'm not saying money is the be all end all. But it helps make life better.
But let's review what you have shared about Daniel:
1) You talk about low numbers referring to sex. So you are inexperienced, and therefore less likely to be a great lover.
2) Your broke unless she hooks you up with a job, so you are likelyu unemployed.
3) You have talked about your vocabulary intimidating women, and I have seen your use of vocabulary here, so you are a pseudo-intellectual who thinks he is brilliant and refuses to admit being wrong.
4) You claim to be in your 50s, but that is obviously a lie. Which shows you will lie about yourself.
5) You are obviously not very good looking, or you wouldn't have the misconceptions about women that you do. So your looks are average to poor.
6) You are mainly concerned with your own desires and needs. What a woman wants is of little concern to you.
Before you start whining about women not being willing to give you "your turn", you need to work on at least a few of the items on the list above.
One last piece of advice. Find out where the cougars hang out in your area. They are less likely to give a damn about you being broke as long as you can perform sexually. And you will learn some things. But drop the pseudo-intellectual act, don't lie, and pay attention to what SHE wants. She may be old. But with your track record, you can't afford to be too choosy.
