In politics, this is the real issue we are facing, and it is being ignored!

All true, but at the same time, Jon Steward does touch on important things happening, even if he has no deep insight to add.
And the fact judicial due process is at risk, is a really big deal in my opinion.
The fact Jon Stewart also agrees, does reinforce the fact its a huge fundamental contradiction that should not have been allowed by anyone.
It should set off the warning buzzers in everyone.
Even with due process we do some bad things like Prohibition, but without due process, we are an irrevocably evil dictatorship.
We have been under a two party dictatorship for decades, but only one side sees the other as a dictatorship and vice versa. I vote third party to try to correct as neither party is for real freedom.

USA Bad, all other countries good. That is moron thinking.

Greed is the cause of all the bad, and not only does the US have the most greed, but the US ensures the most greedy get to call the shots.

Israel has to spy on us because of the powerful anti-semites in the Deep State

Stop misusing the word "Semitic", since it actually means "of Arab origins", from Shem, a fabled son of Noah who was believed to have fathered all Arabs.
The Hebrew were Arab, but all Arabs are not Hebrew, and the Ashkenazi are actually Turkic converts.

There is nothing legal or ethical about Israel.
They are Euro invaders who blew up the British peacekeepers in the King David Hotel so they could not be stopped from massacring hundreds of native villages like Deir Yassin.

Greed is the cause of all the bad, and not only does the US have the most greed, but the US ensures the most greedy get to call the shots.

Another self hating American, pathetic.

Luckyone, I respect your service and your passion for our country, but labeling someone a traitor for not watching a 27-minute video—especially one from a personality like Jon Stewart, who many (myself included) see as biased—is not productive or respectful discourse.
I asked for a summary not because I’m unwilling to learn, but because I prefer digesting information efficiently, especially from sources I view with skepticism. A summary allows me to evaluate the content on its merits, without needing to endure editorial flair or emotional spin.
You say you’re a seeker of truth—great, so am I. But truth-seeking doesn’t mean agreeing with one personality or one source. It means weighing evidence from different perspectives, and also respecting when someone engages critically but doesn’t follow the exact path you prefer.
If the message in the video is so vital, summarizing it would help more people hear it—regardless of their politics or tolerance for Stewart’s style.
I’m not your enemy, and I’m certainly not a traitor. Disagreement isn’t disloyalty. It’s the foundation of a free society.

I also found the video too long, but it has been summarized.
The whole point of a republic is accepting the source of legal authority coming from only the defense of inherent rights of all individuals.
And skipping judicial due process then because one claims immigrants do not merit any rights, cuts through the whole point and foundation of the entire republic.
It is a huge and unacceptable threat in my opinion.

LOL. Thanks for admitting you are a troll. But, yes, you are correct. Trolls are allowed free speech. But, my statement still stands that trolls like you are the real threat to the country.

And by the way, "yes" I have watched many, many videos of Trump speaking and my 79 years of experience and knowledge, have made me see his as a con artist that doesn't care about anything or anyone that doesn't stroke his ego.

You are doing a great job of licking his ass.
I doubt you have watched a 30 minute video as you posted here. Cummlative doesn't count.

Disagreement isn’t disloyalty. It’s the foundation of a free society.

I disagree.
The foundation of a free society as a republic, is the recognition of the defense of inherent individual rights as being the only source of any legal authority.

We have been under a two party dictatorship for decades, but only one side sees the other as a dictatorship and vice versa. I vote third party to try to correct as neither party is for real freedom.

What I would prefer is an open election with no partisan primary, and a rating system in order to avoid run offs.
(With a rating system, you essentially vote against those you do not like.)

I disagree.
The foundation of a free society as a republic, is the recognition of the defense of inherent individual rights as being the only source of any legal authority.
So you are disloyal to our country for disagreeing with me or am I disloyal to our country for disagreeing with you?

Another self hating American, pathetic.

Wrong.
The US is not inherently good or bad, but when greedy get control and we do not stop them, it is our fault.

For example, it should have been clear that Ho Chi Minh was a hero for freeing Vietnam from the French.
So no one in the US should have allowed for the installation of Diem as dictator who prevented elections. There is no excuse for what we did. It should have been obvious to everyone.
Its not like no one ever heard of Ho Chi Minh.
He spent decades in the US trying to get our help against the French.

I stated this in the OP:

This is not about politics but about politicians that lack purpose, are not using their brains, and don' truly care about this nation or about Americans. This applies to both sides.

I never said you had to "agree". In fact, this is a debate board where data, statistics, and facts are discussed from both sides in order to seek what is true.

If the message in the video is so vital, summarizing it would help more people hear it—regardless of their politics or tolerance for Stewart’s style.

The reason I did not summarize it is because Stewart did a better job of explaining it than I could. As such, why would I do it a disservice by explaining it in a less clear way than he did. That is why I strongly suggested to the reader of the OP to see the entire video, not just a few minutes of it, or like many posters here, comment on the OP without watching it at all. Ridiculous childish and biased behavior.

"Let the Soviets win"

Great Idea.

So you are disloyal to our country for disagreeing with me or am I disloyal to our country for disagreeing with you?

Not what I meant.
What I meant is that agreeing or disagreeing is not all that relevant.
What really matter is that we all stick to our own business, and not interfere with others unless absolutely necessary, in order to defend our own rights from harm.

I have to care about the abuse of immigrants because it breaks the basic principles that defend all of us in a republic.
If the government can abuse anyone, then no one is safe any longer.
It no longer is a republic if minorities like immigrants can be treated as if they have no rights.
Because then everyone is a minority in some way.

But the violation of due process and the violation of Posse Comitatus is not until 15 minutes in, so a footage marker suggestion might have helped.

"Let the Soviets win"

Great Idea.

The 3 great rebellions of individual rights against evil monarchies were the US, France, and Russia.
How anyone bought the crazy idea there was anything fundamentally wrong with Russia, is beyond me?
Would you rather have the Tzar back on the throne?

If you believe in a republic, then you have to support the Bolshevik revolution.
Russia has never been the greedy capitalist committing colonial imperialism like the US turned out to be.
Again, we not only invade or take over innocent countries continually, but obviousy spent as much on offensive weapons, as the whole rest of the world combined.
For example, why should the US have aircraft carriers, in order to defend the North American continent?

You numbskull. No one is making illegal immigration illegal. It's been illegal for a very long time.

No it has not.
There were no immigration laws until around 1920 when we were pressing the anti-Bolshevik propaganda.
And in fact, treaties like that of Guadelupe Hidalgo prevent any immigration laws against North or South American natives like Mexicans.

The Declaration of Independence, pretty much makes immigration restrictions illegal.

True, and looking back on it, I should have parsed it out that way. By the same token, the entire video makes the case, meaning that the first 15 minutes do have some importance.

I understand you feel the video is impactful and well-articulated—fair enough. But asking others to only engage with it on your terms, while dismissing valid requests for a summary, doesn’t foster debate—it limits it.

Not everyone processes content the same way. Some prefer reading over watching videos. Some, like me, are more likely to consider an idea if it’s distilled into a few key points first. If your goal is truly open-minded discussion, why not meet people where they are?

Calling people ‘biased’ or ‘childish’ because they don’t engage exactly how you want comes across as more controlling than curious.

If you genuinely want to have a productive discussion, consider sharing the main thesis or a few highlights from the video. Then we can engage on the merits of the ideas rather than the format of delivery.

I doubt you have watched a 30 minute video as you posted here. Cummlative doesn't count.
In looking back at ALL our conversations over the past few months, 99% of them has been criticism of me (the messenger) and very little (if any) debating of the OP's.

You are not here to seek the truth, but here to feed your ego of debasing anyone that doesn't think or believe what you do.

I think I am going to put an end to our conversations. I have given you enough "benefit of the doubt" and now I am convinced that you are a "waste of time with nothing to offer".

There have been federal laws against illegal immigration for a very long time and even Democrat presidents deported those coming here illegally.
