Sandpoint or Coeur d'Alene. They are in the panhandle with the mountains and you have 3 large lakes to fish. Like hunting? Great for Deer and Elk.
Close to Glacier Park in Mt.
Southern Idaho is more arid still nice, but I like the mountains and forests that the panhandle offers.
