No. But it did peak at over 10% a decade ago while Obama was the president and the Democrats had a majority in the House of Representatives and a filibuster-proof supermajority in the Senate in the 4th quarter of 2009.

The future looked grim for US workers because Obama and the Dems were threatening to make energy prices "skyrocket" (Obama's word) with their job-killing Cap & Tax legislation that could have been death-blow to our shaky economy.

We get to pay those salaries. Trump created REAL jobs in the private sector, the kind that are created by an expanding economy, not by an expanding government.
