Again you omitted the choice I would have made which would be all of the above with the following conditions:

--The immigrant applied for immigration through legal channels and waited his/her turn to be invited to become an American.

--The immigrant comes with the intention of denouncing all allegiance to his/her former country and to be American embracing American traditional culture and values, obeying its laws, respecting its flag, National Anthem, Constitution.

--The immigrant comes with the literacy, intelligence, skill set necessary to support himself/herself and not be a burden on his/her new adopted society. Those who need help learning English and/or getting established must have the ability to do that and will have sponsors who see that they have what they need until they get there.

--The immigrant Is able to meet all the legal requirements of a new immigrant.
