'I'm worried it's getting worse': Texas measles outbreak grows as families resist vaccination

The measles outbreak is purely American, Homer.
Proof?

Nowhere in the article does it say these are all white American kids, nor does it say the legal status of the kids or their parents.

Just more hype from the media to scare Americans.

Anyone with a lick of common sense knows where it came from

Stop being stupid

It has been posted here several times.

So, no, homer, not "just once more."

If they weren't vaccinated and get measles and die **** em.

Yep. I had the measles as a kid. So did many others. Most survived, but some did not.

I am not antivax. I support vaccines that have a proven record of working and the measles vax is proven to work.

But that does not mean I'm going to violate someone else's right to chose.
That's a tough one, MEASLES VAX WORKs.
PEOPLE have a right to choice,
But could they at least isolate? so they do not spread it?

When you fervently believe in Trump, you cannot believe in science.
And you believed there would be no repercussions from Biden inviting tens of millions of unvetted, unvaccinated illegals into the country.

'Cases tied to the large outbreak have spread to at least three states.

The measles outbreak that began in Texas before spreading to at least two other states swelled to 355 confirmed cases on Friday — and officials say there is no sign it’s slowing.

“I’m worried it’s getting worse,” Katherine Wells, director of public health for Lubbock, told NBC News.

Many people aren’t getting tested for measles, and efforts to increase vaccination in the affected areas have gotten a lukewarm response, Wells said during a media briefing by the Big Cities Health Coalition on Tuesday.

Wells said she thought it could be a year until the outbreak is controlled.'

Oh, dear.

And what do you want to do about it?
Well we could mandate people don't eat poorly. Make exercise compulsory. Have schools weigh in children and prosecute the parents of obese children.

That's what you want to do with vaccines right? Take away people's freedom because you know better than them, correct?

When did anyone have their freedom taken away because they didn’t get a vaccine?

Texas has a population of 31million there have been 355 confirmed cases that is 0.00001145 percent of the population.
What percent of the Texas population has been killed by illegal immigrants?

Probably extremely low did you consider the possibility that this measles outbreak could at least in part be caused by people who crossed the border illegally who got away and because of that were not medically examined? Just one reason why not coming here through the legal immigration processes is problematic at best.

He did not do that. I am glad to know you support vaccination.
