“I’m not afraid of women” new campaign ad takes on the Trump-Obsessed Manosphere

I get where they were trying to go with this, but that was hard to watch. Its certainly not going to win over any Trmp supporters.

  • straight men can be witty too.
Guilty!
In fact, my avatar has also enjoyed a robust sense of humor.....his own, and in others.
It's sad so many MAGA-philes are missing that character enhancement.
America is poorer for it as no one can make America great if they don't have a sense of humor.

IMHO

  • ".....we should all be afraid of women,,= they are one of gods most destructive forces..."
  • "...are all “not afraid of women”, that’s why they are all rapists."
  • "...the lady folk went from equal rights to drinking the blood of their unborn children. They were doing great in the kitchen…"
It is the misogyny of the MAGA-philes that has become so dominant and prominent in their communicating that we all must find striking. Kamala Harris being elevated as a candidate for POTUS has ramped up the fear and hate of women that has become so endemic within the MAGA movement.

It's sad.

You would like the homo part.
Explain to the forum which part(s) were "homo".
Be specific in describing your perception so the forum will understand what you regard as "homo"-ness.
Thanx in advance.

That would be all of it, Jack.

Of course the party that thinks women can have penises is struggling to identify what’s “homo”. All of it, and all of you. Democrats are the party of homo now. Gay sex in the Senate chamber, luggage stealing trannies, men exposing their hormone induced breast at the White House, kids at drag shows, trans-ing children, puppy play in the military.

FFS you got a lot of nerve acting as if it needs to be explained.

The political partisans who believe men can get pregnant and have periods have made a Kamala ad that tackles the issue of what men are. I assume it’s supposed to be funny but it’s not really. It’s very awkward and hard to take seriously, even as a comedic effort.

The ad was made by Creatives for Harris. Creatives for Harris-Walz 2024: Uniting to Elect Kamala Harris & Tim Walz

“The “Man Enough” concept was born while Jacob Reed, a comedic director who has worked with Funny or Die and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, was watching the Democratic National Convention. He felt inspired by the way Barack Obama spoke of Michelle Obama when introducing her onstage, and the way second gentleman Doug Emhoff gazed up proudly at Kamala Harris during her speech. He also admired the way Tim Walz talked about his wife, Gwen, and her experience of IVF treatment. All this support struck him as a form of masculinity that hadn’t been talked about enough in the election cycle. It was, to him, the polar opposite of the alternative.

“It almost feels like Trump and JD Vance and all the MAGA-world people are afraid of women,” Reed says. “Like, there’s this subtext that if you’re trying to control women this much, there’s something about your masculinity that must feel challenged.”

That does it for me. I'm voting for Kamala Harris!
