I have shingles (herpes zoster) and i have pain, i cannot move much, i do can move but it is very painful, every step is like a earthquake for me. I have now medications for shingles and i got 2 injections for pain relief and pain medication. Shingles is a virus infection and you have pain from it.

Don’t worry it only lasts 3-5 weeks unless you have complications

I had the vaccine late 2019 and 2nd shot early 2020, it was the worst vaccine I've ever had!

and I have a shot book that goes from here to high heaven....

the second Shingles shot was extremely painful in the arm, for almost a week! For me, it was excruciating pain, could not even sleep thru it....!!!!!!

I've never had a shot that was that painful.....!

My hubby got it with me, and he didn't have the same reaction....a little soreness at the most!

Would I do it again?

Yes.

My dad just had shinglesa couple of years ago, and it was awful for him....and I mean really really awful....he still has pain...nerve damage I think and feels like his face is burning all the time....and this is a year later! Poor guy.... My mom ran out and got the vaccine after seeing him go through it....and dad just got the vaccine too, hoping to never get it againl

It was awful! And yeah, I was sore for quite a while in that arm too, but not three months like you!!!!
