Governing the country is something that requires the ability to work well with others within the system. Bernie Sanders has always been an independent because he doesn’t work well with others.

If you can’t work within a group and build consensus, you can’t govern. If Bernie could work within a group he would’ve joined the Democratic Party.

It has nothing to do with being “establishment”, it has to do with getting others to follow his lead. A skill Bernie never bothered to cultivate.

His old style Socialism is passé and unappealing, but at least it has some coherence. The rest of the duopoly only has the dubious ideology of one side opposing the other in order to maintain power through division.

Just for this weekend Im gonna laugh along with conservatives. Why not, what else can I do, be mad? And Im saying “TOLD YOU SO”. I wanted Bernie. We (progressives) all said it in 2016 when you other Dems swore Hillary was the answer. The promised “Biden can beat Trump”. Now look.

The “moderate” Democrats played nice. They went with Hillary and Biden. And Trumps SCOTUS is “winning winning winning, you’re gonna be so sick of winning you’re gonna say please no more I cant take all this winning”

The right played hardball. Look what THEY did: Elected a non establishment guy who literally didnt give a fuck. Who was willing to torch his own party if it meant a win.

But us??? Oooooh no. We wont stack the court. We wont end the filibuster. We are gonna keep voting for the Hillary and Biden establishment. And losing.

They have been painting a picture, plain enough for everyone to see and interpret, about what they wanted to do to Roe for fifty fucking years, and for fifty fucking years they have done nothing. Not one GOD damned thing to codify a woman's right to abortion in law. They've relied on SCOTUS to protect that right, despite plainly seeing what was going to happen. For fifty fucking years they sat on their fat asses and did nothing. If you want someone to blame, someone to be agree with, look to the last fifty years of congress. They are to blame. I 100% agree with you on Hillary. The Democrats want to blame all sorts of people for the Supreme Court ruling other than themselves. It was a huge mistake to run one of the most disliked persons in the country at the top of your ticket. It was pure arrogance.

He refused to fight for his Supreme Court nominee to get a vote. He just assumed Hillary would win so why bother actually doing something? Obama put the Democrats in the position of not having the Senate. They had one of the largest majorities ever and it was all blown in one election cycle. Largely because of him being incapable of being truthful.

Bernie beat Hillary in Wisconsin and Michigan. Both states Trump barely squeaked by on. Sanders would have won those two states. That then only leaves Pennsylvania. People have short memories but Hillary was often times condemned for taking states for granted and instead doing her campaigning at Hollywood parties.

Bernie would have campaigned hard in Pennsylvania and that is where the election would have been decided. One could have won every bit as much as the other. (Trump or Sanders). There isn't a state Hillary won that Sanders would have lost. Yes, Bernie could have won.
