It would be better if Iran was not pursuing NUKES, and from my couch in Tampa, I cannot truly judge how necessary this war is. It seems as though we initially expected the people to revolt once we killed the Ayatollah. That did not happen. Islamic Theocracies are difficult to negotiate with. The ideology is supporting of entering into agreements with the intention of breaking them to get the upper hand on "infidels".

Well, obviously, there's no deal if there's no deal and there still isn't a deal. Part of the problem is Iran's leadership is very fragmented. He's trying to make deals with people and then hardliners, who he's not talking to, say there's no deal.
