The country doesn't have heritage months for any other religion.

When we have Jehovah's Witness Heritage Month , Snake Handlers Heritage Month and Satanist Heritage Month, then the broad might have a point.

But honoring private religious groups like this isn't something done in America.

And in addition to all these, there is the hundreds of millions of current day "Muslims" who are that, only because treachurus Muslims ordered their non-Muslim ancestors to become Muslim, or die. Hell of a way for someone to call themself a "Muslim"

BTW - Omar is probably one of these.

And another "problem" with a Muslim heritage month, is that Islam is illegal in the USA, by virtue of the Constitution (Article 6, Section 2, Part 1 - the Supremacy Clause)

A "Muslim Heritage Month" would be a time of violence in America I'm afraid. There is a lot of infighting between the different muslim groups. If you'll remember the confrontation they had at Kareem A. Jabbar home in Washington DC a number of years ago. Very violent, people killed, as they disagreed with the idea of which muslim sect had the right doctrines.
