IG finds Justice Department spied on Patel and other congressional staffer without telling courts

Six years, my ass! I want these investigations conducted, concluded, trials, convictions and sentencing done in TWO. We've wasted enough time and $$$$$ on all of this BS. Time to get down to the business of running the country (what they are paid to do) not selling it out to our enemies as the democrat seem bent on doing.

While I concur with your timing, it just isn't going to happen. They will push it down the road as far as possible, hoping that a more LIKEABLE regime gets elected in 2, or 4 years.

The only hope is--------->Bondi, Patel, and Gabbard WERE actually screwed by the Left.......well.....all except Bondi. If they discover these people did something shady, they are gonna stick them ASAP!

You guys keep digging a bigger hole. Time to jump in.

NOW is the time. While the republicans hold all the cards. Trump didn't take advantage of that power due to his inexperience in the first term. He has tons of experience and reasons AND power NOW.

Hey Berghof----------->I for one, am not saying your people did something wrong. I have zero proof of that, it is all speculation by everyone.

Now once the new crew gets in there and sniffs around, who knows what they may discover. Personally, I hope NOTHING, because as a country, the American people would really appreciate that. But if they do discover something amiss, then I assure you that MOST of the American people will want them PROSECUTED!

Admit it or not------------>people from BOTH political party's are tired of this; they want it to stop. But they know, the only way to stop it, is make it to costly to the perps to do it ever again.

And so.......your side had YOUR shot, and now we have ours. I have a feeling you are NOT going to like what comes out, but you can always hope.

What?

This happened when Trump’s hand picked bagman Billy Barr was running TRUMP’S DOJ

You fuckers are funny

Pathetic. You're so brainwashed it's disturbing.

Although then-Attorney General Bill Barr personally approved the news media subpoenas in 2020, a committee that had been set up to review any such moves was not consulted, as policy required, the report said. Barr did not cooperate with the IG inquiry, the report added.

You poor thing.

Bill Barr, a Bushie.

In the spring and summer of 2017, CNN.com (CNN), The New York Times, and The Washington Post published articles containing classified information, some of which was classified as Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information. In May and June 2021, multiple news media outlets reported that, in 2020, the Department of Justice (Department or DOJ) issued compulsory process to obtain non-content communications records of reporters at CNN, The New York Times, and The Washington Post in an attempt to identify the sources of the leaked classified information.1 The reported revelations sparked widespread concern, including from the news media, that the Department’s use of compulsory process was an encroachment on the news media’s ability to report on government activities. Concerns also were raised about the Department’s use of non-disclosure orders (NDO)—sought by the Department and issued by federal courts—that prevented the reporters and newsroom leadership from learning about the use of compulsory process to seek reporters’ non content email records.2

What was secret about it? Sounds like they issued it to the news agencies directly…to find leakers of classified documents

All upset until one finds out that what they are upset over happened under Trump.

IG finds Justice Department spied on Patel

and other congressional staffer without telling courts

As a result of the probe, the department obtained phone records from two members of Congress and 43 staff members, including President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for FBI Director, Kash Patel.
10 Dec 2024 ~~ By Steven Richards

The Justice Department spied on two House members and several congressional staffers in a leak investigation without telling the courts, the agency's inspector general found in a sweeping investigation released Tuesday.
As a result, the department obtained phone records from the two members of Congress and 43 staff members including President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for FBI director, Kash Patel, who worked as a staffer on the GOP-led House Intelligence Committee at the time.
The department initiated the probe to investigate leaks to the media of FBI classified information as part of the now-discredited Trump-Russia probe which had recently been shared with Congress.

You can read the report below:

IG report on leak investigation.pdf
Patel, who is poised to become the new director of the FBI if confirmed, previously sued former Trump Justice Department officials and FBI Director Christopher Wray, accusing them of violating his Fourth Amendment right to protection from unreasonable searches and seizures when they tried to obtain Patel's personal records, Just the News previously reported.

Another former staffer, Jason Foster, previously told Just the News that he confirmed that the government successfully asked a federal court to hide its spying on Congress for five consecutive years.

Commentary:
Notice the IG's report didn't come out until AFTER the election.
Each dat that foes by, we find that the Biden appointed DoJ and FBI are as corrupt as they can be, no wonder Trump wanted Gaetz and Patel - these places need to be cleaned out top to bottom.
Garland is corrupt and we can be thankful that he was not considered for SCOTUS..
Time to investigate, indict and convict these political hacks for their violations of law.

Yep. RICO has no limitations, and the new Trump AG needs to prosecute these vermin, every one of them, no exceptions.
