Many, many moons ago my current wife was married to someone else. She wasn't happy so they separated. During that time she met me and we really hit if off. We dated for over a year and it was obvious things were working out. But, she was still legally married. So, she called her "husband" and wanted to meet with him at a restaurant and tell him that she wanted to get the ball moving on an official divorce as soon as possible. He wasn't really aware of what she wanted to talk about. So, they started dinner and before she could say much of anything he blurted out, "If you want me back I'm not changing". Needless to say he soon found out that wasn't what she wanted to talk about.

In any event, you and the moderators are probably wondering why I am putting my personal story in the politics section of USMB. The answer is because the current democrat party reminds me of what happened back then years ago. They are waiting for Trump to fail and hoping that voters will come back to them and they are telling those voters, "See, we told you so. If you want us back, we're not changing anything. You take us the way we are, with the very same policies that led you to vote for Trump in the first place".

After months of reflection after their election losses, they have decided on this strategy of not changing anything that caused Biden to have a 37% approval rating with only 25% of Americans thinking the country was going in the right direction. This is the basket they are putting all of their eggs in.

Sorry bout that,

1. Change is good for the Democrats, but can they change?
2. No.
3. And you can bet your bottom dollar, she didnt welcome him back with open arms, he got his ass kicked to the curb.
4. Democrats are in a total tale spin, and there is no way stopping them from crashing down to the earth.
5. All we will be able to do is watch.
6. They will not correct their flight.

Trump has failed.

This shit gets old. You scrubs have lost 3 out of the last 4 elections. Biden beat trump so badly in 2020 that he had delusions about a stolen election and you raggedy MAGATS whined for 4 years about something that didn't happen. You pricks had an insurrection to try forcing Trump back into office and yet you sit behind a computer spewing this garbage. So STFU because it is looking like it's going t be 4 out of 5, and in 2028 you better find somebody not MAGA because Americans are not going to elect four more years of this when Trump is done.

Just to clarify, you are agreeing with my post that dems aren’t going to change anything.

The truth is that until you yourself find who you are, what your morals, ethics, principles and humanity are and not let others tell you what you should be, the end result will be many failed marriages.

Eliza, a woman with a penchant for love and a history of failed marriages, finds herself navigating a whirlwind of emotions and relationships, each leaving her with a bittersweet lesson. Her story is a poignant exploration of love, loss, and the enduring search for connection.

Here's a deeper dive into Eliza's story:

  • The First Flame:
Eliza's first marriage was a whirlwind romance, fueled by passion and youthful idealism. However, as the initial spark faded, cracks began to appear, revealing underlying incompatibilities and unresolved issues. The marriage ended abruptly, leaving Eliza heartbroken but determined to find love again.
  • Second Chances:
Eliza, undeterred by her first experience, embarked on a series of relationships, each promising a different kind of happiness. She met a charming artist, a successful businessman, and a kind-hearted teacher, each relationship offering a unique perspective on love and connection. However, each relationship ultimately failed, leaving Eliza with a mix of disappointment and a deeper understanding of her own needs and desires.
  • The Search for Meaning:
As Eliza navigated the complexities of her romantic life, she began to question the meaning of love and commitment. She realized that true connection wasn't about finding the perfect person, but about understanding herself and her own capacity for love.
  • A New Perspective:
After a particularly painful breakup, Eliza decided to focus on her own growth and well-being. She began to explore her interests, connect with old friends, and find solace in her creative pursuits. This period of self-discovery allowed her to approach relationships with a newfound sense of clarity and purpose.
  • The Enduring Search:
Eliza's story is not about finding the "perfect" partner, but about the ongoing journey of self-discovery and the pursuit of meaningful connections. She embraces the lessons learned from her past relationships, understanding that love, like life, is a complex and ever-evolving process.

Trump has failed.

Good to see your delusions are deepening .
The much anticipated full break- down looks close .

Go back and read the body copy of your post .

It is that of a poor old man randomly chatting to himself --- desperately trying to rationalise why he is sitting in a deep hole with no way of escape .

If Republicans think they have a mandate, they are sadly mistaken.

The electorate has proven to be fickle over the last few election cycles. They swing radically from left to right and back again.

Voters soured on Trump last time and they will do so again. Republicans will live and die on the economy.
Trumps Trade War will cause serious damage and Republicans will pay the price

So, you're admitting I'm right. Democrats aren't changing anything.

please pass the koolaid 'Lu.......~S~

How did you get hold of Bugger86s medical record?

"Drinking the Kool-Aid" is strongly believing in and accepting a deadly, deranged, or foolish ideology or concept based only upon the overpowering coaxing of another; the expression is also used to refer to a person who wrongly has faith in a possibly doomed or dangerous idea because of perceived potential high rewards.

What are you worried about? It's just a little chunk of ice. Now get back to the party, the Titanic's guests are in a festive mood.

Yes, the Dems need to move center.

The GOP have moved too far right and totalitarian.

Let's see who gets it right.
