Or a small phone, pain in rear also. So I work hard on a post, get around all the gotchas and pain…then they delete it. UGH!
IMO, I think a lot of work and headaches from both mods and members would be alleviated, if, when a post is deleted, members knew the content of the post. But most times, you'll just get a message that a post was deleted, and why, not by who and with a copy of what the post was.
Some mods just have better things to do I think.
But they could tell you WHO is doing the moderation, and give a screenshot of what you did, but most of them don't.
It would be nice if the software automatically did that, but it doesn't.
I remember one of the biggest concerns among staff, is how to get folks to pay attention to the rules. The fact is, with human behavior, and with the number of posts on here, if folks don't clearly understand what parts of which posts are getting moderated, the situation can't improve.
How can members learn to follow the rules better, if they can't see what was deleted, and how to avoid that behavior again?
