Glaciers covered a large portion of the U.S. and Europe. Not that long ago there were times when crops failed because it was too cold. We do need to be concerned with clean air and clean water but we should not be in a hurry to “fix” the climate at the expense of our country and our people.

Not that long ago there didn't exist a modern technological civilization incapable of functioning as it does now without a stable climate and healthy biosphere to depend upon.

There's no such thing as a stable climate. Nor is a stable climate a requirement for civilization. The biosphere is doing ok, what does need to happen is stop wasting money on useless climate change nonsense, and use that money to mitigate the very real pollution issues that are a threat to the biosphere.
