Well, it's a fact that many people that label themselves as "Christians" pick and choose which Scriptures to believe and don't really know their bible, have never really studied their bible, and don't attend a bible-believing church. If you put such institutions under a microscope, you will find that they most usually started very conservative biblically and then drifted to the left in little steps... These "churches" have "theologians" who eventually came up with the Swoon Theory, the Non-virgin Birth Theory, Women Pastors, Non-Inerrancy of Scripture, Full acceptance of Evolution, Divorced Pastors, "Gay" Bishops, Non-Literal Creation Theories, The spilling of Blood is not necessary, No need of redemption, Jesus becomes only a good example to live by, etc., etc., etc...

The Bible is pretty simple. Disregard what nobody except a few chosen liars claimed to see. Pay attention to what everyone saw and hence the authors could not lie about...
