The choices currently on the table in the controversy over the Democrats' versus the Republicans' continuing resolutions are this:
Are you willing to have your hard-earned tax dollars spent providing Obamacare to people who crossed the border illegally and were given "legal status?"
and
Do you want to have your hard earned dollars spent to provide Obamacare to people who refuse to work or do community service a minimum of twenty hours a week?
and
Do you want half a trillion of your hard-earned tax dollars given to the public broadcasting corporation?
and
Are you so insistent on spending your money thusly, that you are willing to shut down the entire government if you cannot get your way on those issues?
Or
would you have a clean continuing resolution that keep the spending plan exactly the way it was on september thirtieth, including the time limit set by Democrats on covid related obamacare subsidies for seven weeks while the above isdues are negotiated?
