except that this wasnt a new bill, it was just a clean CR, no adds, to keep the government funded so they could work on the final bill. Dems wouldnt have it. They demanded their adds be included in any new vote.

Yeah, because democrats couldn't agree to a clean CR. They HAD to put their agenda into any bill proposed.

All they had to do is say they would agree to a CR at current funding levels while the two sides hash out the final bill. They couldn't don this.

That will save a lot of money and reduce our debt.
Trump has moved to pay our military personnel. That's important.
