Family members tell Queen City News the six-year-old girl, identified as Kinsley White, was released from the hospital overnight and that the violent incident stemmed from a neighbor who was upset that a basketball rolled into his yard.

Kinsley White spoke with Queen City News following the shooting. “He came out with a gun, he started shooting,” she said. “Hope my daddy is okay.” Singletary is described as a 6-foot-2 man with brown eyes and black hair, weighing 223 pounds. In December, Gastonia Police charged Singletary in the brutal assault of his 21-year-old girlfriend with a mini sledgehammer. They also said Singletary kept the victim inside his apartment and did not allow her to leave for over two hours. At that time, the man faced charges of assault with intent to inflict serious injury, kidnapping, and communicating threats. He was in the Gaston County jail on a $250,000 bond."


So this moron was upset that a basketball rolled into his yard and he felt that gave him the right to just shoot at people; including a 6 yr old little girl? What is he going to claim, that he felt threatened? And to make things worse, it seems he was already out on bond for assault and kidnapping -- seems the people he shot would have had more justification to just shoot at him out of fear for their life. How is this not racially motivated? In order to shoot a little child like that; that has to come from a place of evil and hate. The silver lining to all of this is that the little girl was not seriously injured and to date, nobody has died from this.....but the trauma she experienced is going to remain with her for the rest of her life.

Senate Bill 818 states that “A firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is manufactured commercially or privately in Oklahoma and that remains exclusively within the borders of Oklahoma is not subject to federal law, federal taxation, or federal regulation including registration…”

Because the 2nd Amendment obviously protects the rights of OK guns to remain unregulated and unregistered.

If he is a convicted felon, he has already at least once told the world that he doesn't care about whatever law(s) it is that he was convicted of flipping his finger at. Race wasnt mentioned by him. Its not like he was saying "im going to kill you white people". It may have been racial for him, but there is no way to prove that short of a confession.

This doesnt qualify as a hate crime with the current evidence.
