And both of them were held up. HCR took over a year.

People with such faulty memory cannot be trusted with power.

AS I remember it, HC took so long to pass because the Dems couldn't get their blue dog moderates on board. Hence the buys offs.

It was these moderates that held up that freight train not the Reps.

The Dems had a supermajority and still had to bribe members OF THEIR OWN PARTY to support that HC bill.

Dont' think you can really blame the Reps for that one there ace.

We desperately need a "Do-Nothing Congress." Gridlock would be perfect for this nation. Our politicians are doing way too much at this point. How many more new Laws do we really need? Personally i enjoy it when our Congress is away on Recess. When they're away i know they can't do anymore damage to our nation. More Americans just need to change the way they view our Congress. The more they're in session,the more damage they do. This is just the truth.

I'll take a "Do-Nothing Congress" over an oppressive over-reaching Congress anytime. I really would like to see the Republicans make some significant gains and put an end to this awful Socialist/Progressive agenda. If the Republicans can just stop that agenda,they will have done enough for me. Gridlock really would be a refreshing & pleasant alternative to this Socialist/Progressive malaise in my opinion. So get out and vote. Make 2010 count.
