WASHINGTON, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Ukraine would not see any new restrictions on the use of U.S. weapons against North Korean forces should they enter the fight against Ukrainian forces, the Pentagon said on Monday, as it estimated 10,000 North Korean troops had been deployed to eastern Russia for training.

"A portion of those soldiers have already moved closer to Ukraine, and we are increasingly concerned that Russia intends to use these soldiers in combat or to support combat operations against Ukrainian forces in Russia's Kursk Oblast near the border with Ukraine," said Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said earlier on Monday that military units from North Korea have been deployed to Russia's Kursk region, which Ukrainian forces grabbed in a surprise summer offensive.

Singh declined to confirm North Korean forces were present in Kursk, "It is likely that they are moving in that direction towards Kursk. But I don't have more details just yet," Singh said.

Most news raises more questions than answers....This does too.

When the NATO Secretary says this is escalatory what does that mean? What is NATO’s response to meet an escalatory move? Complain? More sanctions? I have no idea.

I’m stuck waiting for further information to more questions.

I guess it will make the Uke-Bros happy till January 20.

The "bottom line," as the accountants call it, is that the U.S. is using Ukrainian young men to fight its battle with Putin, and that ain't right. From all reliable accounts, almost a million men have been either killed or so badly injured that they cannot continue fighting(both sides combined) in a travesty that never need have started.

The U.S. gave Putin assurances that NATO would not encroach directly on their territory and "we" violated that promise flagrantly and planted American missiles on Russia's doorstep for no good reason. This whole thing is OUR FAULT. It is a national disgrace for the U.S.

One can only hope that Trump figures a way to stop the carnage and start the process of rebuilding Ukraine (and getting its people back from overseas). A promise that Ukraine will NEVER be admitted to NATO would do it.

It's none of our business. All sorts of excuses are made for the Democrats losing but what is rarely mentioned is that this is a major one.

Under Bush we had protests over the wars. People protested out in front of Bush's home. Put up displays to mark the dead.

Obama made promises to end the wars. He won big.

He then lied and Biden has continued to carry out those lies.

They lost big.

For Putin a red line meant exactly that.

Its like importing tens of thousand of North Koreans to invade Ukraine would have no repercussion.

1. Where did the US "plant missiles on Russia's doorstep?

2. The US is not at fault for Putin invading a sovereign nation.

3. The US and NATO allies gave Ukraine security assurances if they gave up their nukes via the Budapest Memorandum, that Putin also signed.

4. Ukraine needs to enter NATO. THEY CAN'T TRUST PUTIN.

Reuters engaged in the big lie about Biden's mental health. How can we believe anything that comes from it? The U.S. is in a jam created by the Biden administration and it seems that Reuters is still betting on the freaking loser.

You know, I'd just like to remind everyone that I'm pretty sure there hasn't yet been any actual evidence of North Korean troops participating. All we've seen have been grainy photos, and hearsay from South Korean intelligence services.

You need to correct that. It is blatantly false. Why say something that is not true?

Then what happens? Putin waits a few months and reinvades?

You are correct but many Ukrainians must take responsibility for their stupidity, it isn't the first time in History they have sold their arse to Foreigners, the legacy of that can be seen to this day with streets and town squares named after Nazi collaborators and Bandera, that is who and what the West is supporting.

Those photos are probably men from Siberia and Asian Russian republics.

It's scary and unbelievable Biden has not been removed by now, could the 25th be invoked before he blows us all to hell?

They weren't even up close photos. It was literally satellite images of some buildings MAYBE in Siberia. But for all we know, the CIA could have just taken a picture of some buildings in the Midwest or Alaska, and then told its media mouthpieces to say it was proof of NORK troops in Russia.
