Well of course we have Trump and Biden, the respective probable nominees of the two major parties. Then we've got Kennedy and West both running as Independents, siphoning more votes off Biden than Trump, not even counting Joe Manchin and the No Labels party or taking into account the electoral college, which seems to favor Republicans.
I think Liz is smart enough to know that if she entered the Republican primary at this late stage she probably wouldn't even do as well as Mike Pence, who has already dropped out. But, she has vowed to stop Trump, no matter what it takes. She also probably knows that she could not win as an Independent or even as a Libertarian. But, it is beginning to look like the only way to defeat Trump in 2024 would be to have either a Libertarian or another Independent run in 2024, someone who at least had a chance of taking votes away from Trump.
So, how would she do if she actually wound up being the head of the Libertarian ticket?
How would she do if she ran independently?
Would either of these options be enough to take enough votes away from Trump to give Biden the win?
