Zone1 If Jesus Was A Jew

No, I don’t see it. He’s saying Christianity goes against Jewish teachings. Isn’t that obvious?

It goes against Jewish teaching and even the teachings of Jesus but its not obvious to the dead.

I know way more about living than you do. I converse on a wide variety of topics in this forum.

You only converse on one and your posting history is a matter of public record.

Didn't see it written like that. I only saw "a Jew is someone who is of the Jewish religion." That's why I asked about Jews that were atheists. I already knew they were Jewish by birth.

Glad that's settled.
A Jew who is an atheist is still a Jew. Unlike Christianity, “belief” does not determine who is or is not a Jew. Born of a Jewish mother? You’re Jewish.

You can eat lobster, work on Yom Kippur, never set foot in a Synogogue, sit down to a ham-and-cheese sandwich on white bread the first night of Passover, whatever. You’re still Jewish if mama was.

I understand. I never not understood. I was correcting rosends incomplete statement.

Is that what you tell yourself while playing golf after munching on Jesus flesh? "Im blessed!

Wow. I am very impressed!

And? So what. I post about what I know where I want to post it for a specific reason.

So they are Jewish, just as I said. Not sure why you would think otherwise.

I guess. He said something against Jews?
He is making insulting and hateful comments about religious practices which are near and dear to me. If I did the same to you, would it matter then? Would I be anti-semitic for doing so? What's the Christian version of that called?

I never did think otherwise. I was correcting your sloppily written post that only addressed the adherents of the religion.

You can insult my faith all you want. It only affects you. It doesn't affect me. My only duty here is to shine a spotlight on your bad and hateful behaviors.

You're on a mission here. And that mission is hate.

I pointed out that Ding is seeking spiritual life from a lifeless piece of bread, so he was insulted even though thats what he is doing at mass, even though his own Church openly teaches that.

And so I am a very very bad man. First he called me a subversive, a secular humanist, secular Jesus, then an angry gay Jewish man advocating buggery who is trying to subvert Christianity.

And for some mysterious reason I don't feel insulted.
You do it in the most rude, hateful and disrespectful manner possible. You've done it thousands of times. And I'm not exaggerating. It's literally your central focus in this forum. You're on a mission of hate.

Perhaps it’s because Jews have been so smeared in this forum that my threshold has increased. I’ve taken so much direct battering - like being told that “Jews are anti-human scum” or being called a Nazi - that I suppose I’ve become desensitized to the “milder” insults.

That said, if he insulted Christians, I’m sorry.

I don't consider them mild at all. Quite the opposite. He's attacking my faith. He's attacking my relationship with God. There's nothing more important to me in my life.

Well, by saying the bit about the lifeless piece of bread (are you referring to the cracker they take at Communion?), you are mocking him, and that’s not nice. But it’s nothing like the shit Jews have had to take from antisemites on this forum.

Screw the apologies. I am not sorry. He is perpetuating lies responsible for the unspeakable suffering of billions of people over thousands of years, especially directed at Jewish people.

Did he say you were “anti-human scum”? Perhaps he’s angry at the battering he’s taken at the hands of Christians, and taking it out on the wrong person.

I’m not going to defend him for being disrepectful of your religion, but I can’t get as worked up about it given how the forum has been allowed to become so antisemitic.

Now thats funny!

You have only succeeded in shining a spotlight on your own bad and hateful behaviors. good job!

Not nice? Should I be nice to a person who openly perpetuates lies that screw up minds for life? Lies that are directly responsible for the attempted extermination of the entire Jewish population?

Damn.

I don't think so.

This is where religion and ethics are discussed. I found the two topics have nothing in common. So I have added my two cents. If he doesn't like what I have to say he can always go to church.

I will never be there.
