If it official, democrats want illegal aliens into the country only for democrat votes

I will never believe that showing ID is too much to ask in order to vote, especially if I accept I.D requirements at the beer store, to get on a plane, to pick up something I ordered etc. It is critical that election processes are protectdd with the necessary safeguards. Once you lose that, you lose everything. Consider the dichotomy of making it illegwl to ask for someones ID to vote in California. That screams something and it isnt election integrity.
Democrats NEVER answer when we point out all the other things Democrats require ID for. Want to hunt or fish to feed yourself, then show ID or go hungry AND pay a Dem fee for the privilege.

Just months ago you turds we’re over estimating the number to 30 million

Now you underestimate it by 7-10 million

Why the difference?
To be clear, I don't buy the 7 - 10 million number either...With all of the known "got away's", and adjusting for the unknown "got away's", I would put the number at 15 million as my guess. Now, you add that to the 11 million number here already that you people have been using since the early 2000s that we all know was bullshit, the total number is around 30 million....Get it now?

Yes it is. When I moved on October 1st, 2015, the federal election was held on October 19, 2015, and I changed ridings. While I had notified the Province that I had moved, I did not yet have any government issued ID with my new address on it. I had to take my bank statement to prove my residency in the new riding.

This thread is not about Cunadian law.

Have a bank account or a credit card, et cetera. Too many things to count.

Hey stupid, the 7-10 million was how much she underestimated the number by.

Dumbass

The real number is somewhere just north of 15 million. Total.

And most are employed. Few are criminals. Almost none ever try to vote (an infintesible number)

I know many. This is a farming community. They’re basically hard working decent people

None of those things are Constitutional rights

There was no right to vote in the original U.S. Constitution.

The original Constitution doesn’t have much to say about the right to vote. Indeed, nowhere in the text does it explicitly say that citizens have the right to vote in elections. Instead, it merely states that anyone eligible to vote for the largest house of a state’s legislature is also eligible to vote for members of the House of Representatives from that state. As a result, states were left with the power to decide who qualified to vote, leading to considerable variation in the nation’s early years.

After the abolition of slavery and in response to a growing push to extend voting rights to more Americans, a series of constitutional amendments added protections to the right to vote to the U.S. Constitution:

  • The 14th Amendment extends citizenship to all natural born or naturalized Americans regardless of race and guaranteed that rights of citizenship, like voting, cannot be restricted by the states.
  • The 15th Amendment prohibits restricting the right to vote due to race.
  • The 17th Amendment requires states to elect senators by popular vote.
  • The 19th Amendment extends voting rights to all women.
  • The 26th Amendment extends the right to vote to everyone 18 years of age and older.
  • Additionally, the 24th Amendment explicitly bans poll taxes, which often prevented low-income citizens of all races from voting.
Importantly, these amendments give Congress and the federal government the power to enforce the amendments’ protections of the right to vote through legislation — which is a power Congress has used. The Enforcement Act of 1870 (also known as the Civil Rights Act of 1870 or the First Ku Klux Klan Act) empowered President Ulysses S. Grant to enforce the 15th Amendment by making it illegal to disenfranchise Black voters and allowing the president to use federal marshals to bring charges against offenders. Similarly, the landmark Voting Rights Act of 1965 (VRA) relies on Congress’ power to enforce the 14th and 15th Amendments and gave the federal government and individuals multiple tools to challenge racially discriminatory voting practices. As a result, the amendments not only created strong protections for the right to vote, but gave the federal government a greater active role in enforcing that right.

So, it is important to realize that the "right" to vote only came about AFTER the country had already been established...With that understood, no where does any of the Amendments, nor laws passed include ANY rights of non citizens the ability to vote in elections....Now, this is just a mess, because with the influx of illegal alien invasion over the past 50 years, many of them were given provisions in some states of getting DL's and ID's...Making it harder to distinguish between citizens, and non citizens...

IMHO, this is just more proof that a multi culturist centered nation can not work unless there are strict rules for these scenarios...Voter ID, would be a start.

Marie Gluesenkamp Perez struggles to speak over boos during a town hall Thursday (KOIN 6)

Democrat is nearly boo’ed out of hour-long town hall as voters bash her for supporting SAVE voting rights act

A Washington state Democrat came under fire during a town hall after backing a bill that would require voters to prove their citizenship when casting a ballot.

On Thursday, U.S. Representative Marie Gluesenkamp Perez walked into a town hall attended by hundreds of her constituents in Vancouver and was met with resounding boos.

Voters were upset she’d voted for the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act and other pieces of legislation.

The second-term congresswoman struggled to speak over the disturbances during the hour-long event, according to KOIN 6.

Attendees told the outlet they wanted their representative to know they were outraged, even though Gluesenkamp Perez had told them the bill wouldn’t pass in the Senate.

“Americans believe that only US citizens should be determining the outcome of American elections. And any idea that I am standing to disenfranchise people is patently false,” the representative said at the meeting.

Anna Brouns, who lives in the congresswoman’s district, said: “I came here to hear what she has to say. Unfortunately, it always sounds like the same thing.”

She said she wants the representative to be angrier than she is and get more done.

“I wish that she would stand stronger and voice more of like, ‘This is what I’m doing. I’m doing x, y, z. I’m talking to the Republicans. I’m trying to get them to shift.’ That would be helpful. Instead of talking about shop class,” Brouns said.

Gluesenkamp Perez reiterated her commitment to “being here and present and available and accountable and trying to have as productive of a conversation as we can.”

The congresswoman was whisked away after the event for security concerns, her team told the TV station.

I'm just glad they did not harm her physically because democrats have become a mob of lawless thugs, but she has to know they won't reelect her for wanting only legal citizens to vote.

MAGA lies.

I proved I was qualified to vote in 1980. I should not be required to jump through any further hoops to exercise my Constitutionally protected right to vote.

Non citizens do not vote

If Republicans could actually find any we would see hundreds of threads on it

Ample laws are already in place to prevent unqualified people from casting their votes, advocates say. Such measures include a requirement for election officials to verify eligibility and citizenship data via the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Social Security Administration, death data, and U.S. Postal Service change-of-address data, as reported by the Center for American Progress.

Federal law also requires that anyone registering to vote provide either their government-issued driver's license number or the last four digits of their Social Security number to establish voting eligibility.

What if the address on your state issued ID is different that the address you used when you registered to vote, but you're still a valid registered voter in that county or state?

Pretty inefficient way of getting votes. And the SAVE act is bullshit. She should be primaried for support this drivel.

How do you prove citizenship to vote?

It seems like only only yesterday Libs were all excited about people being required to show their vax card. hahaha….Libtardia, today’s Twilight Zone

What is it specifically, that Republican's in the 100 days we've been in power, that we are forcing you personally to accept?

Number one would be the idea that Trump can simply just waive his arm and dispense with due process.

Now granted, your reply was written in a lame way. Neither I nor the courts are forced to accept it.

Nope! It is NOT difficult to distinguish between a citizen or non citizen illegal on their Driver's licences because a citizen driver's licence AND a non citizen driver's licence is not the same, they are different, and the illegal s driver's licence states they are not citizens and not able to vote and other things, with this non citizen ID.
