Such a murder would have to be decided by Bibi which would lead to a massive shift in support against Israel.

If some rogue agents were involved in this somehow, outside of the official channels of Bibi; the punishment should be that the U.S demand the handing over of those involved and they should be judged in a court of law and given an appropriate sentence.

Israel deals with criticism all the time. FAR worse within Israel than outside. Far worse even in the U.N on a weekly basis. Israel is accustomed to criticism and debate, that is how democracies work and Israel has healthy balance of Judaism principles and the Judeo-Christian enacting of liberty as iimported by former European Jews who moved back to Israel in 1948 when the land was given back.

The Pollard situation hurt Israel a great deal and set back relations. There is no way they are going to green light a murder of an America who practices Shabbat and was a major influence to a younger generation getting back to faith. Not having Kirk is worse for Israel than having a Kirk.

There is always the possibility of some far-right (or left) Neo-Liberals or Neo-Cons feeling threatened by the influence one man might have for a younger voting generation but, it wouldn;t be Israel.

Put it this way, it could have been ANY nations intelligence service but they would have been so effective in a shadowy influence campaign that it would be near impossible to trace back to them.

So, unless some foreign intel agency got really sloppy, this is probably as it seems.

I would say that there are far more likely suspects than Israel though. I wouldn't place them in the top 20 for such a decision. In fact, I'd place them on the bottom 25% quadrant.
