...then He's not all-powerful. Plus, a being that can rest at all is finite, not infinite. If you benefit from resting you have some kind of biology going on. Some kind of body. And are thus, by definition not GOD like most think of it now. You're something much more mundane and ordinary. Exceptional perhaps, but limited and biological.

We ourselves already have the knowledge of how to terraform planets to become habitable. And we're really good at destroying stuff, better than God ever was in fact. Took God 40 days and nights to flood the planet and kill everybody but those he spared. We can do it in about 30 minutes. :)

Why? He chose to rest for our example.
Can one person of the Trinity rest while the others work? Just asking.

Right!

Because a Day on Earth is EXACTLY EQUAL TO a Day in God's Mind/Existence/Dimension/Universe or whatever.

And REST is EXACTLY what it means here on Earth. Sleeping.

What a Brilliant Insight!

He rested on the 7th day because He was finished, not tired. The word used there is shabbat. It means to discontinue labor, not take a nap to rejuvenate, or to gear up for more labor on days 8, 9 or 10.

This may clear up the misconception that He must be finite because...
Psalm 121:4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. ...

He remains all powerful.

(If we did do it in about 30minutes, would the earth be habitable after we were done?)

Then what did he do on the eighth, ninth and tenth day?

Once He had finished the creation He had made for man, He blessed it, and declared it holy.
Then He moved on to us, where He has been engaged ever since. Nothing He did after the 7th, was described as labor, and no shabbat was necessary after He breathed life into man, planted trees in the garden, formed the animals and birds and brought them to Adam to name, created Eve, walked with them in the garden, and He has been pro active ever since. He does not slumber, He does not sleep. No where in the Bible does God need to be awakened to be informed as to what His children are up to. He has been constantly present since He breathed life into Adam. That makes it along time between naps.

Psalm 121:4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
