I vote Conservative in the UK, not because I feel part of conservative group that must follow along with other Conservatives, I don't give a toss about others. I just vote Conservative to keep Left Wing parties out because more Socialist policies are unhealthy for the UK and it's people.

If I lived in the US, I would vote Republican. Why? Hopefully to get less Socialist policies.

Conservatism is a far broader and more inclusive ideology than you choose to believe. We’re generally far more accepting of alternate opinions to our own, so long as they don’t cross a certain line. That line is called “Right and Wrong”. This ideological concept allows us to accept many differing viewpoints within the limits but still stand on ideologically solid ground when we despise the rest of you.
