If Canada offers Americans citizenship here, the only obligation is that you bow to our King and allow government to rule your life, would you accept?

This is a fair deal for all those who want to move to Canada. Just accept the king, bow when needed and accept that the police state owns you and your property though you can live every day with the illusion that you are free.

How many Americans would accept this deal as a percentage? 40%, 60%, 5%?

How much power does the king have?

The only Americans moving to Canada are those running away from something.

Well, we pay the monarchy $60M a year, 89% of our land is Crown land, any Bill passed in Parliament requires the monarchies ascent and if you work in any official position you must swear an oath of allegiance to the British Monarchy, not Canada.

For starters.

Consider that Mark Carney left Canada for England and became their top bankers. He conveniently comes back to Canada as Trudeau resigns and without a federal election, takes over as the PM.

It's all quite unusual for a libertarian like myself who was clearly born in the wrong country.

Ummm... the Canadian king?

Yes. King Charles is the official Ruler of Canada. You have a problem with that?

I shall pray for the kings health tonight. Long live the king!

It's really just a symbolic kinda thing. Canada is self governing.

You don't want to leave Canada, so what you're saying isn't true.

Then why did Trudeau meet the King just last week? Why was there outrage that the King didn't speak out against Trump calling us the 51st State? Why has the monarchy been wearing clothes to represent support for Canada?

When Canada fought in WWII it wasn't for our sake, it was for the monarchy. Even marketing posters promoted fighting for the King.

Look, it is what it is. I have a king. I was born into it. I don't care if changes or doesn't because I know civil liberties don't exist here regardless.

Basically "if you are some poor sap and have a problem, the king doesn't run Canada". If you are a powerful person or politician, "come meet your king and get approval before your Bill can be passed or your influence approved".

This is what you left and what Canada fought to maintain. There is a reason so many leave for America. We'd love to have a King to ask for assistance when abuses occur but it all just amounts to plausible deniability and convenient "not under our jurisdiction"

I think you should be locked in the tower for the lack of full disclosure. I shall request an audience with King Charles in that regard.
I see in your posts that you are intentionally concealing the weather factor in Canada. Folks, don't be misled by this.....charleton. Canada is barely warm enough for reindeer and polar bears to survive.

"Locked in the tower for lack of full disclosure"?
What in the...

You must have a tower up there somewhere.....
Errr, Casa Loma maybe?

Will I receive the rack to stretch some sense into me or just the standard strapping and whipping?

I would reckon that is up to the King.
I think there's a tower in Dog River......is that close to your part of the realm?

So, a little bit of money disappears... but stays in Canada, doesn't actually go to Charles....

And "Crown land" isn't really owned by the monarch, is it? It's basically land owned by the Canadian government, or provincial governments.

As I understand it the agreement going back to 1867 is that the Monarchy can basically reclaim 89% of Canadian land at their discretion. Again, it is about the "illusion of ownership".

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain. To such a degree that I don't even technically own my land or house, even if I was a billionaire I couldn't ever own it

In fact, I believe when I purchased the deed for our home it had British crest somewhere in the form, essentially allowing me "leasehold" over the land. Therefore, we all remain slaves and serfs, never truly independent and free as I've learned first hand by the covert police apparatus:

Does England still own land in Canada?

The land of Canada is solely owned by Queen Elizabeth II, who is also the head of state. Only 9.7% of the total land is privately owned, while the rest is Crown Land. The land is administered on behalf of the Crown by various agencies or departments of the government of Canada.

Who is the biggest landowner in the world?

The largest landowner in the world currently is King Charles III of England. King Charles III and the British Royal Family own more than 6,600,000,000 acres of land around the world. They technically own many territories around the globe, amounting to 1/6 of the surface of the planet.

Do you own the land your house is on in Canada?

In Canada, all land is owned by the Crown and administered by the government. Private landowners are not owners at all but mere tenants.

Does King Charles rule Canada?

Canada is a constitutional monarchy whereby the Sovereign is Canada’s Head of State. King Charles III automatically became Sovereign of Canada on the passing of his predecessor, Queen Elizabeth II. Charles Philip Arthur George was born at Buckingham Palace on November 14, 1948.

That's Corner Gas, a funny show that never should have been cancelled. I didn't watch it a great deal but always found it funny.

Yeah, it's one of my favorites.
Still don't try to deflect. It only contributes to the seriousness of the situation.
You know what the weather is like there, I bet you own more than one snow shovel......
