Michael Brown, George Floyd, Daunte Wright, Freddy Gray...one more in the fatal pandemic: resisting arrest.

"Police fatally shoot man during standoff

A man who was holding a woman at knifepoint was shot and killed Sunday by Baltimore police, the city’s police commissioner said.

An officer fired inside a house after the man grabbed the woman by her hair and made a stabbing motion with the large knife he held, said Police Commissioner Michael Harrison. A second officer also may have shot at the man, Harrison said.

He said the gunfire came after efforts to de-escate the situation were unsuccessful.

During the confrontation in a second-floor hallway, the officers repeatedly asked the man to put down the knife and allow them to help him, Harrison said.
....being held inside at knifepoint, Harrison said.

After entering the house, the officers went upstairs and found the man standing over the woman while she was on the floor, the commissioner said.

The man who was shot died at the scene, according to Harrison. The woman was not injured, he said."

Freddy Grey did not resist arrest. He saw the corrupt Baltimore cops come his way and knew to stay clear of him. They saw that as a sign he was doing something illegal. There is no indications at all that he was.

As we saw, he had valid reasons to steer clear of them.

Me neither.

Your post says exactly what mine did. When he saw the corrupt violent Baltimore police start to approach him he left. There is NOTHING illegal about that.

Now, no fears......the Democrat deep-thinkers have this stunning new plan!!!!!!!!!

"New policy for mental health crises

Starting in June, D.C. police will not be the first responders to some mental health calls in the city.

Under a new pilot program, 911 operators will instead send unarmed teams of behavioral health experts and peers to the scene.

The move was recommended last month by the city’s police reform commission, part of local and national efforts in the wake of George Floyd’s killing to reduce violent contact between the public and law enforcement.

We want to make sure we are not making “something more of an event by sending a uniformed officer there if they are not needed,” Cleo Subido, interim director for the Office of Unified Communications said. In “some kind of a situation where there’s a distrust of law enforcement, or distrust of the fire department, or of strangers,” she said, sending police

“could be doing a disservice.”
behavioral health crisis teams statewide."

I see Pay-per-View potential here!!
