If all U.S. monuments/statues related to slavery are to be taken down, what about Muslim ones?

when they went after the confederate flag, they said JUST THE FLAG - JUST REMOVE THE FLAG FROM PUBLIC PROPERTY!!!!

and so many said "you won't stop there".

they are not. so they themselves are fucking liars who make deals then feel some moral justification in their actions to continue it.

this and this reason alone is why i am against them getting their way - they don't know when to stop.

proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Should we insist that every Mosque and Muslim building/artifact/statue/etc. be taken down? If they refuse, should we bomb Mecca?
Where in the US are these Muslim statues supporting owning slaves in America? Seriously, I'm curious.
so you only give a shit about american history of slavery?

must not be a moral highground to give a shit about slaves in other places til it suits your needs.

If we take down every confederate statue and flag you would have to take down every MLK Jr and civil rights monument as well. Because without slavery and the confederacy there is no civil rights movement.

These confederacy monuments are important because they remind us of our history and if those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

Or what about this headstone of a former K.K.K. member that was erected during the Obama's administration. Someone needs to walk up to Pres. Trump and say, "Mr. President, Tear down that headstone".

So your claim is you would support removing all references to Islam and Muhammad because Muhammad was a slave owner and little boy fucker, but there is simply nothing to remove?

The left have been called out again on their 'selective' outrage. What Trump is doing is exposing just how the left and liberal media operate, by singling out, dividing, and demonizing to spin a narrative. First it was the Confederate flag, now its statues of Confederate generals.

President Lincoln asked Robert E Lee to command the Union army, FACT.

President Lincoln forgave Robert E Lee after the war, FACT.

Robert E Lee married George Washington's great granddaughter, FACT.

Fake News is trying to single out and paint Robert E Lee as a boogieman, but he's just a prop in the liberal media's fake news spin machine.

Slavery in Brazil - Wikipedia

...During the Atlantic slave trade era, Brazil imported more African slaves than any other country. An estimated 4.9 million slaves from Africa were brought to Brazil during the period from 1501 to 1866.[2] Until the early 1850s, most enslaved Africans who arrived on Brazilian shores were forced to embark at West Central African ports, especially in Luanda (present-day Angola). Today, with the exception of Nigeria, the largest population of people of African descent is in Brazil.[3]

Slave labor was the driving force behind the growth of the sugar economy in Brazil, and sugar was the primary export of the colony from 1600 to 1650. Gold and diamond deposits were discovered in Brazil in 1690, which sparked an increase in the importation of African slaves to power this newly profitable market. Transportation systems were developed for the mining infrastructure, and population boomed from immigrants seeking to take part in gold and diamond mining.

Demand for African slaves did not wane after the decline of the mining industry in the second half of the 18th century. Cattle ranching and foodstuff production proliferated after the population growth, both of which relied heavily on slave labor. 1.7 million slaves were imported to Brazil from Africa from 1700 to 1800, and the rise of coffee in the 1830s further enticed expansion of the slave trade.

Brazil was the last country in the Western world to abolish slavery. By the time it was abolished, in 1888, an estimated four million slaves had been imported from Africa to Brazil, 40% of the total number of slaves brought to the Americas.

If liberals really cared about slavery, they'd also throw away their iPhones, iPads, tablets, laptops, computers, etc.

You are right on the first. What was Colonel Robert E Lee's response? I believe it was joining the rebellion against the USA.

Also it was Johnson who signed amnesty after the War and stopped the ongoing treason charges members of the rebellion were facing.

They will not do that,of course. They cannot live without those items.

What? I mean you could say the same thing about anything with that. "If American's really cared about illegal immigration, they should want to build a wall around Turkey's border instead..." or "If American's really cared about too high of tax rates, they should focus on Belgiums tax rates instead"

No, American's tend to focus on America's issues mostly.

Just remember every time blacks see the confederate statues, they will remember what the white man did to them as well. Ifs not just a reminder for the whites. Maybe they should leave them up.
