If a man can marry a man

Sure, but your opinion on it shouldn’t decide whether they can in society.
Our society decided murder is wrong, theft is wrong, driving intoxicated is wrong, and an infinite amount of other things are and aren’t wrong, what gives anyone the right to decide anything then? you dumb twat

However, when you get married you are entitled to certain benefits. Therefore ALL ADULTS have to be able to get those benefits, so you have to open marriage up.
ALL adults? Are you sure? Because a single person can insist on having marriage benefits or he will scream discrimination.

Well, laws that prohibit people from getting naked, are quite conservative. Pooping in public is a cleanliness issue. Poop isn't safe.
I don't believe that is the reason. I believe that public defecation was banned because it offended people's sense of decency, not because it was a health concern.

If you still claim so, you will need to prove it.

But why should married folk have benefits single folk don't?

For example, what if Aunt Marry and Aunt Sue want to live together to cut costs, should they be afforded the same rights as married folk? If not, why not?

If SF is an indication, it is neither a sanitation nor a decency offense as they allow it.

I bet yer ass smells as bad as everyone's else's.
But you still love me despite my smelly ass, 💋

Those are very good questions. I don't want to derail this thread so I will just say this: gays shouldn't act like we owe them marriage. Also, they claim it's because they want the same rights and benefits, when in fact it's because they want to force their way of life on the rest of us.

A lot of places ban it.
A lot of places don't. Don't get me wrong, I am adamantly opposed to all three practices, public nudity, defecation and gay marriage, but they exist in spite of what I believe. As for gays wanting to force their degeneracy on us, I agree that they are. I can see no other reason for them demanding a religious ceremony from religions that teach that their lifestyle is denounced by the very being they want to bless their union.

I couldn't give a damn whether it's one way or the other. It doesn't matter for this argument in the slightest.

Yes, all adults can get married to get the marriage benefits.
Why though? I wonder.

If I cannot get veteran benefits because I am not a veteran, this is not a form of discrimination against me. It doesn't matter that I should try and become a veteran. There might be legitimate reasons for why I cannot be a veteran. And regardless of those reasons, the very simple fact I am excluded is because I am not a veteran, not because society has something against me personally. It's the same thing with gays.

It matters though.

If we can ban something on the grounds of going against public decency, then we can ban gay marriages.

Then someone should be allowed to marry a dead person. Laws always mention persons, but it doesn't say these persons have to be alive.

The current laws forbidding the marriage between a live person and a dead person are discriminatory just like the laws in some jurisdictions that forbid two people of the same sex from marrying. Therefore these laws are discriminatory and need to be struck down. Homosexuals have the right to marriage like heterosexuals. In a similar vein, dead people have the right to marriage just like live people.

You're catching a lot of shit, but I can see your point. If people can marry others of the same sex, it's only a hop, skip, and a jump from people wanting to redefine marriage by marrying their dogs, cats, goats, horses, television sets, computers, or for that matter, a dead person.

It's all a symptom of the mass psychosis society has developed due to the lack of Biblical principles. Society's permissiveness went from "We just want to be left alone" to "In your face", and morphed from "We just want to read stories to children while dressing up as woman", to school shootings by transgenders.

Agreed, sir.

Why are you going off talking about veterans?

If you do a job, you get benefits, if you work for a government job, like the military, you get different benefits based on the job.

This has nothing to do with marriage.

You can ban something whatever. It doesn't matter for this argument. Stop talking about pointless stuff or this conversations stops.

I mentioned veterans as an example.

The reason gays cannot get marriage benefits is because they cannot get married. And the reason they cannot get married is because they are not a man and a woman. It's not because the society is discriminating against them.

Lmao, I love how you're looking for a way out of the conversation cause you sense you're losing.
