The ten commandments identify and convict the guilty.

Temples and prophets aren't connected. Prophecy ended and there was a second temple.

Also God provides means for atonement beyond temple ritual.

What are you talking about that prophecy ended when a second temple was built? Prophecy ended when Israel, once again, fell into apostasy. This time, it was mostly just Judah and half or so of Benjamin. The Lord only speaks through His servants the Prophets when it comes to important things. Amos 3:7. I know you don't want to read it, but it's true. God never provided a prophet of God any means beyond the temple ritual except like I said, maybe they were baptizing. But, without authority.

I know the difference between a church (synagogue) and the Temple. Funny how Jews today started calling synagogues temples. They aren't. At least, I haven't seen any burnt sacrifices going on here locally. Maybe in New York?
I have no contempt for Jews. That's your words. I do have good news for Jews. The Lord is again speaking to his servants, the prophets and building temples all over the world. Have no idea why Jews are stuck on one temple.
