Again. there is a confusion here between two different ideas and wholly different concepts:
- Ownership is a Real Estate transaction (You and I own our homes).
- Sovereignty: a term involving what power exercise supreme authority over the territory (My Sate of Ohio is sovereign territory of the US).
If the US sells Ohio
(from some hypothetical reason) to Canada, the ownership of my home does not change and is not in danger. BUT, the sovereignty changed form the US to Canada. In our discussions here, the question of ownership is a totally invalid question. We are taking about the two cornerstones of a sovereign state are
independent foreign policy and national security.
NOTE: The US sees the ICC as an infringement of its sovereign rights as a Superpower to carry out humanitarian and international peace missions across the globe.
If someone kicked someone out of their house say 70 years ago, and then someone else moved in, and lived there for 70 years.
Who is the rightful owner?
The one kicked out before, or the one who lives there?
Normal people think the one who lives there.
Zionists being bizarre idiotic weirdos seem to think the people who lived there before have the right to kick out the present inhabitants.
Um. If the one who lives there is the owner of the house -- its Israel. Israel owns the house now.
West Bank settlements included?
West Bank of Jordan.
Jordan lost war and ran away with tails between legs.
Jordan is happy it only lost the West Bank of Jordan and not the entire Jordan.
What gives Jews the right to colonize the West Bank if people are there?
(COMMENT)
To the Question of "rights" for the Colonization of the West Bank is a challenge to a set of decisions that date back to almost a century ago. What do we mean, when we say "colonize?" Do we mean to dispatch a group of settlers to (a place) and establish political control over it: See Articles 4 and 6 of the Mandate.
Most Respectfully
