It's been amazing watching the overseas commentary evolving on this whole thing.

It has been essentially a faster version of what many Americans have experienced: They were shocked at first, then they tried to understand why America has turned, then they finally accepted that this is the new reality.

Now, they're beyond thinking of us as a friend or ally, and are speaking of America as an adversary in the same breath as Russia. So when they discuss possible strategies against Putin, they always, ALWAYS mention Trump at the same time. They don't look at Trump as being as vicious as Putin, but rather as more as Putin's enabler.

All this, in two months. All those long, critical relationships are gone, broken. America alone. Incredible.
