ELLABELL, Ga. (WSAV) — WSAV has confirmed with the spokesperson from Homeland Security that Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) is conducting a sting operation at the Hyundai plant.

Hundreds of undercover law enforcement vehicles and Humvees were reportedly seen on Kia Road Thursday morning.

Large buses were also seen entering the site. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearm (ATF) confirmed Thursday night 450 people were apprehended during the sting operation.

There's no point in bringing manufacturing jobs back to the US if all the labor is just sending their wages back south of the border.

The raid halted construction of a factory being built to produce batteries for electric vehicles, the Associated Press reported. The facility has been touted by Georgia’s governor as the largest economic development site in the state’s history, the AP added.

No mention of the name of the construction company that is involved, the CEO's and corporate heads of the unnamed company should be charged with aiding and abetting and violation of U.S. employment laws and violations of OSHA statutes.

They were construction workers working on a new facility as best I can determine from the coverage I saw. I don't believe Hyundai employed any of them.
