ICE arrests Palestinian activist who helped lead Columbia University protests, his lawyer says

So they were blocking the roads for days (weeks? I don’t remember) and your solution is to write them a ticket?

Jesus.

or tow them.

Or, it ******* Canada, go around them. The biggest issue was them not moving cargo.

Try going around someone 3 cars wide and 500 deep on the BQE because some morons are mad at Israel and blocking all 3 lanes.

He is a legal resident of the United States. His to Freedom of Speech AND Freedom of Assembly are enshrined in the United States Constitution. Deporting simply because he is Palestinian is both racist and illegal
He’s a visa guest and not a resident nor citizen. He’s a visitor with permission and subject to the conditions of the granted permission. The Freedom of Assembly is different for him than US citizens.

Couldn’t get anyone to tow them. They had hundreds of vehicles clogging the limited roads resulting in serious disruption. Not to mention them blaring their horns constantly.

It went on for weeks.

Note the title of Constitution of The United States of America
It’s not titled America’s Constitution with the World

Let's see what the guy actually did.

If he organized take overs and intimidation of Jewish students, that isn't speech, so he's gone.

If he took money from known fronts for Hamas or the Muslim Brotherhood, known terrorist orgs, that isn't speech, he's gone.

If he took part in hostile takeovers of buildings and intimidation of other Students, that isn't speech, he's gone.

The fact that only the MAGAts can do those 3 things legally but all others cannot.

Freedom of speech does not morph into freedom of action.
I think the judge just held him.

Again, the main disruption was from the loss of cargo capacity, and that's why Trudeau went all police state on them.

Mare keeps arguing the issue here is free speech. When he well knows there is a specific statute regarding the deportablility of any alien whose actions constitute a "reasonable ground to believe would have potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States"
That, if true, has to be proven in court, as he is entitled to due process.
