The masked kidnappers have no ******* identification that they are "official" kidnappers. A verifiable identification on their uniforms that witnesses can check and inform known authorities would help the public keep from fighting them. Knowing that their victims are given due process would be a reasonable ask, too.

Perhaps then, they could be as proud as real federal officers.
Otherwise, they appear and behave like the worst criminals imaginable.

But, I suspect, ramping up hate and diversity, especially focused on race, is part of the plan.

First of all ICE are not "officers of the law".
Second is that you can get as close as you need to in order to hear.
The widest buffer zone is 25' in Louisiana, but does not apply to journalists.
And clearly the person in the car that ICE pointed guns at were more than 30' away.
ICE is always in violation of the law because they do not know what the law is and do not follow judicial due process.

This isn't deporting anyone. This is performative theatre designed to terrorize and abuse people. ICE is now holding more than 51,000 people in custody. They cannot legally hold more than 40,000 people at a time, so conditions are overcrowded, filthy, disease is rampant, and there are shortages of food and water. Conditions are so bad inside, that ICE is now refusing entry to members of Congress and trying to claim they're "processing facilities" and therefore exempt from Congressional oversight.

Deportations are down - WAY DOWN, because none of these shenanigans are getting people out of the country. Trump fired all off the immigration court judges and who COULD HAVE ordered these people deported, to go with snatching people off the streets and throwing them on planes.

Both the Biden Administration and the Obama Administration managed to deport far more people than Trump did in his first term, but they did it legally, humanely, and without storm troopers running around terrorizing the citizens,. Democrats carried out their deportations legally, quietly, and without causing mass protests or violence.

Trump and his minions should try following the law and the Constitution. They'd get more people deported.

Trump is incapable of running anything, much less the country.
