"I will not be bullied by you."

Coming from a leftist like you I'm surprised you know the difference.
There is no "left" in the United States, both major parties are largely the same when it comes to capitalism and geopolitics and privatized healthcare, they differ in little details but you've been hoodwinked if you actually think there's a real "left" party here.

Your viewpoints across this board belie this false moderate stance you're taking. You can't distance yourself from it now.

But nice try.

Bernie sanders is moderately left leaning and is pretty much discounted, sidelined by the democrats, why? because they do not represent "left" they do not represent socialism or socialist values. There is no significant left in US politics, it's an illusion.

There haven't been bigger policy differences between D's and R's than there currently are and they are significant.

A job caring a huge responsiblity doesn't give you the right to be a sexist. It's weird you think it does.
What the hell happened to the Republican party? I mean you guys continually play the victim card. I mean can you imagine, Reagan playing the victim card? Hell, even Bush Jr.

A truly "left" party, using the meaning established initially in Russia and then Europe proper during the 19th and 20th centuries would be alien to Republican and Democrat alike here.

We'd see very strong support for unions across many sectors of industry, we'd see nationalization of the healthcare system and we'd see no growth of oligarchy as we've had in the US for many many decades and now culminating in Trump's grand enterprise to privatize everything that's publicly owned.

The biggest cause of bankruptcies here (66%) is caused by healthcare debt - any political system that truly cared about the people would nuke private healthcare and improve the quality of life of millions and millions of Americans.

But you'll see no enthusiasm from many democrats or republicans for these ideas because they both pander to the powerful not the poor.

Most people on this forum seem to be important. The question is why e on the forum?
.

Most of them are lying.

There is a new sock who claims that he/she/it is an RN who works in an abortion clinic, but I'll estimate he/she/it only "works" an hour a day, judging by the amount of time they're active here on the board.

I thought democrats should be proud, they INVENTED the victim thing. That is all democrats ever are is victims.
Here are some signs that someone is playing the victim mentality:

  • They focus on their injuries or problems without paying heed to issues that others face
  • They don’t accept mistakes and try to shift the blame on others or make excuses
  • They act entitled to special treatment or attention
  • They whine or demand sympathy
  • They refuse to take any responsibility for their actions

Sound like anyone you might have voted for?

No. I don’t vote for Dems.

In an exchange between AG nominee Pam Bondi and Democratic Senator Alex Padilla during her confirmation hearing, Pam Bondi erupted stating "I will not be bullied by you."

Now, here is a textbook case of a male senator bullying a woman, but the left seemingly has no qualms with it. After all she's nothing but a Trump nominee, right? Here is the exchange below:

Why is this okay? And how does this further the public knowledge of her qualifications beyond "we don't like her" or "but Trump nominated her?"

No Problem. She handled his ass efficiently. She has high potential to be effect in the position, when confirmed. Even if not being in sync with her political views, she is one of the best qualified candidate, Trump has put forth.

Biden and the democrats to a tee.

Pam Bondi, Trump’s AG pick, said ‘prosecutors will be prosecuted’

Again and again, when Donald Trump has faced scandal and scrutiny, Pam Bondi was there to defend him.
Bondi said the Justice Department’s special counsel investigation into whether Trump associates coordinated with Russian interference in the 2016 election needed to be dissolved. She declared that the 45th president’s first impeachment in 2019 was a “sham.” And when Trump was indicted four times after leaving office, Bondi was blunt about who deserved legal scrutiny — and it wasn’t the former president.

“The prosecutors will be prosecuted, the bad ones,” Bondi declared on Fox News in 2023, soon after Trump’s fourth set of criminal charges. “The investigators will be investigated.”

These are the things you have to say to be considered by the orange enemy of the state to serve him..........not the people.
