I was only making like 5,000-6,000 per month but only worked 30-35 hours per week

That is like $ 40 an hour or so.

It seems like good money but the with my rent , HC bills, food etc.. I was like breaking even !!

My credit card bills were about 4,000 a month plus another 2 grand on rent !!

I was breaking even .. yikes

Plus I have zero kids. yikes

I am not complaining !!! I am only saying its freakin hard to make a living nowadays.
I mean 40 an hour aint that much

Sounds like it's way more than you make now.
At your age it's a little late to be picky. You said you sold your business so where's that money?
You could easily buy into a new business or buy a house, making 40 bucks an hour should be more than enough to live on that way.
And you bought a cheap car,did you pay that off with the proceeds from the sale of your business?
The Wife and I havent had a house payment for over 30 years and we've used that money to pay off our vehicles in a couple years.
From what it sounds like you're a complete fuck up when it comes to managing money.

In our Socialist Republic of Washington State, @ least on the east side of the state one is blessed if they can land $23.00 per hour. The purchasing power of the dollar is so low & taxes so high that even 80K per year does not raise eyebrows anymore. Get those credit cards paid off fast like. Once debt free on the cards purchase an F-350(with extended warranty) & a used(in good shape) cab over 10' self contained camper. Pay off the camper first, then the F-350 as funds allow. The F-350/camper duo will allow you to park it overnight about anywhere close to the location of your employment(save on fuel cost). A 10' cab over camper is big enough to live in(barely) for one person but can support an overnight companion when the need arises for you. The financial future for America looks pretty dim by anyone's standards and #1 for survival is being out of debt, like be in debt to no one! #2 for survival is to retain MOBILITY to avoid entrapment if the case arises.

Who told you that you need a truck that big to pull a camper that small? I drug a 30 foot trailer all over the country with a 1/2 ton Dodge. A 3/4 ton would have been better, but not an absolute requirement.
