Economist are accusing the trump *administration of fudging the numbers to make a faltering economy look better than it really is.

They noted the same things I did. A lack of real data, prices that don't line up with the numbers released by the government, and "imputing" data where there was none (basically guessing).

And they aren't likely to get any more accurate for a while either.

And I know you're gonna attack the source but I had to find you one without a paywall.

Oh, I would never attack the source.
And I know you're entirely trustworthy and completely fair and well balanced.

It's yet another thing that republicans would be outraged about if a Democrat administration did this, but will ignore it entirely when their favorite sports team does this.

Your best effort, little lady was a cut and paste from a leftist tabloid.

Why do you hate yourself so much that you try to insult me by misgendering me to your supposed gender?

Pretty much a tale as old as time...as a boss when you incentivize good news, you tend to only get good news.

Any source that tells them the truth they'll call fake news.

Papageorgio just told me tariffs have only raised prices .007% or something ridiculous like that. I called it out right away. Fake ******* news. No ******* way. My coffee went from $8.99 to $12.99.

Google washing machines, dish washers, stoves, fridges, and see how much tariffs have raised the prices.

It's almost as if Republicans weren't sincere last year when they said Biden was bad because things were unaffordable and inflation was his fault. They didn't fix it they added to it.

Let's not forget that Trump was going to lower prices from when Biden left office. Those prices that we had then are never going to come back. Because of tariffs. Unless Trump is just putting things back the way they were before he made things worse.

I said 0.07% and corrected it to 0.7, you just added even more zeros! lol!

Our economy grew by 4.3%, inflation is going down, unemployment is still under 5% and most Americans are doing fine.

The primary objective for the U.S in my opinion in this benchmark in history should be to defend your borders from illegals, cut federal spending/outpouring of cash in an effort to gain control of your annual deficit, ensure real wage growth is palatable to the average citizen, and, confronting Chinas untenable market manipulation efforts.

China grew on the backs of American corporations and Middle Class jobs. The U.S must pursue policies to reverse this.

This would be a start, have the administration investigate the toy industry of China imports into America to determine if they are using lead paint or other poor quality materials that could harm childrens development. I remember years ago CBC had a special where they exposed that some toys that boys were using in the tub were harming their testosterone development.

If he can get congress to lay down the law that childrens toys MUST be produced domestically to protect the health of children, I believe it would be a HUGE win, especially for parents and mothers concerned about the health of their kids.

This would be a start in exposing potential efforts by foreign adversaries to harm a generation of American kids and could expand to other industries over time. "National Security" could be synonymous with "health and welfare of the vulnerable". Re-shore some factories.

Stop blaming China. I have always used Jack Welch of GE as a perfect example of when American corporations broke the social contract they had with us non union Americans. We no longer had a right to our jobs. We could no longer expect to work for one company 30 years, retire with a pension. Those days were over. The new America was fire the bottom 10% every year in every department.

Today I also learned that he was behind Americans being in so much debt. He realized he could make more money loaning you money to buy a washing machine than he makes selling you a washing machine. So he sent all those high paying jobs overseas and he got into the credit card game.

American Corporations/CEOs and Republicans fucked us over. Starting with Reagan, GE and Jack Welch. Let's say 1978.

What did China do? Who insisted on trading with them? Nixon. Why? Because Pepsi wanted into China. I certainly didn't. But they (Republicans) told us we'd get cheap shit from them and that was their solution for all our high paying union jobs going away.

How many of us were in unions in the 2000's? Not many. Republicans always do this. They attack a vulnerable unpopular minority. Unions. Today it's trannies.

Trump has destroyed the credibility of many of our government agencies such as the bureau of labor statistics by replacing technocrats with sycophants. No one with a brain believes any information that comes out of these agencies anymore and they should not. I don’t if their credibility will ever be restored where they were pre-Trump.

Nobody said 10 percent inflation was good for the economy. Stop the lying.

The wise American will believe nothing this administration says.
