It is apparently a milder mutation than the major one, which is why nobody has been hospitalized with it as far as is known. I pointed out in a thread a while back that most of these viruses tend mutate into much milder forms as they 'progress.

The article is a lot of word salad that says the mutation into milder forms will generally take over and give resistance to the more dangerous forms eventually as it adapts to humans, and the more dangerous ones kill their hosts and thereforedon't spread nearly enough to be dominant strains.
