I think it is time to admit Puerto Rico as the 51st state. I think they've voted for it like 2-3 times already in recent years and I think it is time for Trump to ask congress to make it official. I wouldn't be against Greenland being a territory if they wished to be that either. I am all for increasing the size of the United states but lets do first thing first!

Their GDP per capita is 40% lower than the US.
We don't need a poor state that will need billions in welfare and will send an all-Dem delegation to the House and Senate.

Grant them independence.

The ONLY thing that would change if Puerto Rico became a state is that Puerto Rico would have the Right to 2 Senators and , at least 3 Representatives.

As a US Territory Puerto Rico is essentially a state for all other purposes.

As a US Territory Puerto Rico is essentially a state for all other purposes.
