Since I'm no longer allowed on twitter (I use a work around to view it once in awhile), I rely on other social media to conduct my own internal unscientific poll (probably still more accurate than the ones they apparently run which are supposed to be "objective").
Check out this video on youtube. Well, not the video per se, but the reactions. Keep in mind, this is supposed to be middle-of-the-road CNN. Trump has a MAJOR voter base that he can sway from the Dems, of this I am confident.
There is a generation of citizens longing for "the good old days", America First, being in the drivers seat, being proud Americans and of it's historic values of captalism, opportunity and liberty. There is a reason so many TV shows are set in the 1980s, and they are popular. Stranger Things, The Goldbergs, This is Us etc. It was a less complicated time in the fact America had it's values and fought for them against foreign enemies, nobody was muddying the waters.
Trump has exposed the poor leadership of the last decades and he must continue this, don't let others harm America, there are many more dems and younger generation who want America First than people realize. He needs to be positive and frank at his Convention. Remind them of the threat socialism poses, but also what he will do to maintain the American Dream against anyone who wants to steal it.

I think he said "I'm Joe Biden's husband " EDIT: After listening a few times and half speed, he clearly says joe...but tries to throw a L on the end of it to save himself.
