There were worst allegations to make against someone of course, from a legal standpoint, but in terms of ones character, as a man, being called a coward was essentially the low of the low. Not even big, tough guys would call little, wimpy guys a coward. It wouldn't reflect well on the bigger man.
Now, every week or two there is a coward murdering people randomly. Not one who they had a beef with or who threatened them, but just people going about their business. The fact that this generation is ok with being referred to as a coward speaks volume about the pervasive issue we are all facing.
You can make ill advised decisions in the course of a life, but when you murder innocent people in such a fashion as these cowardly terrorists do and it speaks to their core. As a man, (or woman), it's the pinnacle of cowardice.
A generation without some level of pride is dangerous. My generation definitely had cowards, many of them went into law enforcement (loosely defined), but today it seems rampant across the board.
