The Democrats do not create communism, they are a political force and a faction within the framework of capitalism that fulfills the main goal of capitalism - the preservation of capitalism itself, deceiving the working people with demagogic slogans and distracting them from the real struggle for their rights.
Communism is a theoretical state system in which complete equality and social equality will be achieved, there will be no class stratification and exploitation of man by man (there will be no rich and poor, privileged and oppressed, everyone will be equal), the role of money and the state will die out, everything necessary will be created by automated production, there will be no need for daily exhausting labor, people will be free and equal.
In practice, such a system has never existed, but some States have aspired to it and declared their goal to build such a society.
Socialism is a transitional stage between capitalism and communism - a society of social justice and universal equality, achieved by renouncing private ownership of the means of production and replacing it with public property (i.e., factories belong not to some oligarch, but to the workers themselves, i.e. those who work for them).
With this approach, there is no exploitation of a person by a person (no one works "for the Man", receiving a penny for it, under the threat of unemployment and starvation) and social stratification in society is minimal (everyone is approximately equal, has equal rights and duties). Actually, this is the main sign of socialism - the smaller the stratification in society (the gap between rich and poor, privileged and disadvantaged), the more socialist society is. And vice versa - the greater the stratification, the less socialism there is in it.
