It will be intersting to see 100 years from now how Trump is remembered in the history books. I imagine shortly after Trump leaves office how the left's narrative will try influencing that history. But, there is a definite Mars/Venus thing happening here.

Most of the left think that Trump will be remembered as the only president who was impeached three times (or more), while I tend to think that the history books will show that the times we are living in are so utterly divided that it will note the lawfare used against Trump, including at least three impeachments, none of which removed Trump from office.

I'd settle for someone, even a Repub, who has the country's best interests in mind. Someone who isn't thoroughly corrupt, who names an AG who acts as the people's attorney. Who makes decisions based on facts and science and surrounds himself with people of a similar mind. Someone who considers him of herself the prez for all the citizens of the country, not just those who support him. A fundamentally moral, honest person who doesn't unethically own a media platform he uses to make government proclamations on. Often times vulgar and juvenile ones. Someone who understands what sacrifice for the greater good means, and has lived it.
