I just learned of Recess Appointments. This means Trump can get any of his appointments into their positions. Clinton used it 139 times, GWB 171

You just learned of Recess Appointments?

It's been in our Constitution for 225 years.

Thats politics

You win some and lose some

In this case the voters rejected your vision for the future and elected to go MAGA instead
Respectfully, that is not entirely correct. The facts are -- dimocrap scum were prevented from stealing this election like they did last time.

Where's the ten million votes?

A: They never existed.

The Founders tried to protect against something like this, but you can only pre-emptively plug so many holes in a free society. To some degree you have to trust the system and the people. We sure did last a long time with that kind of trust.
In so many ways, for so many reasons, the Founders could not conceive of someone like trump. Now we need to deal with the loopholes he has exploited.

It began with the press, which (understandably, in some ways) had no idea how to cover him -- and his constant torrent of juvenile hyperbole and pure bullshit -- from Day One. He essentially paralyzed them. Not something the Founders would have wanted, obviously.

Whether we can plug the loopholes will depend on what he does to the institutions that hold him accountable. If he's able to do what other autocrats have done -- gain control of the press and intimidate/shut down opposing speech -- then all bets are off. So we'll see.

I want all of his picks positioned. Otherwise, how will we have a fun and hilarious four years?
